The first phase of the project was started in the year 2001 with just 3 markets(Mandi/Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee) taken in to consideration. Later on all the Mandis totaling to 73 were fully computerised with proper hardware in place. For development of capacity building in the mandis, a training program was organised at NIC CG State Centre from time to time for operation of the software and transmission of data to central portal of AGMARKNET.
