FUEL -- Tamil Localistion workshop

A 2-day workshop on Tamil Localisation is being held at CDAC Chennai on 12th & 13th December 2009.

The workshop is being organized under the aegis of FUEL project on Localization. Promoted by Red Hat, FUEL (Frequently Used Entries for Localization) aims to bring coherence and standardization in Computer Software Translation across the platform for all Languages.

Apart from direct participation, there can also be on-line participants thru irc node. The group will assess the translation of about 600 frequently used entries (circulated prior to the event), and arrive at the consensus for the translated terms.
